Not that I'm aware of. The only differences I'm aware of are the three position switch on the new one and the input/output jacks being on different sides.

The original one was the one that got the great reviews in Bass Player magazine. I can only assume the newer one offers additional enhancments. Bass Player has written up that the EBS octave pedals track fast.
