Pro Audio BH-400 bass head for sale (Australia)

Pro Audio BH-400. Excellent condition, excellent bass head. AU$400 (costs $1200 new)

Quality, Australian-made bass head. Rack mountable, but I've always kept it in a soft rack case so practically immaculate condition; there's one or two fingerprints/reflections show up on the photo - it's in better condition than it looks on them. Obviously case included in sale.

Only used for a couple of rehearsals and otherwise kept at home; about a couple of years old.

Really loud amp if you want it to be; 400W seems pretty conservative compared to other amps; easily cut through a loud rock band at rehearsal on 50% power. It's got various eq's and tone settings, which are easy to use and can really usefully shape your tone; you can go from clear, loud clean sounds to really crunchy, dirty sounds and vary the volume however you want.

Purchased from Pro Audio Supplies: http://www.proaudio.com.au/ I'm selling it as I need the money really, and I've bought a preamp/power amp rack set up, and don't really need both.

Contact me on pearcey@screaming.net if interested. I'll post it anywhere - it's reasonably heavy, let me know where you live and I'll give you a quote.

I've had a couple of PMs; basically the writing below the control knobs is on a reflective surface; this means it's really easy to see it when rehearsing/playing in low light.

I've attached a photo of the back too.

I found it difficult to get a photo that didn't reflect off the reflective surface; this is the one with the flash off:

and here's a picture of the back:

Let me know if you're interested.
