This is a very recent acquisition and the ONLY reason I'm considering a trade for this is that because at this point in time I really can't justify owning a bass costing this much money and it not be my only/main gigging bass! I have a couple of other basses that I chop and change between and I'm happier that way, rather than having one instrument (especially as I have 3 bands on the go and all require different approaches/tones... well, IMHO) to do everything.
The bass is in mint condition and has a Sadowsky light-case (rigid gigbag). I can and will take pics but tbh I doubt I can beat the pics taken by Roger Sadowsky's photographer, so I'll put those up for now, as well as the link to the original sale thread where I bought the bass. I'll flesh out loads of info if required but if you are in this league when looking for a bass then I'd expect you'd have a fair idea of what this bass is. It goes without saying that it is UBER-light and the tone is huge! It is presently strung with DR Sunbeam 45-105s but I am quite happy to restring and set it up with lighter gauge strings (home set-ups are a doddle on this bass) 'for the right deal'.

What do I want? I'm receptive to most offers but the bass being offered MUST be under/about 9lb in weight! I won't split hairs if the bass is an once or two over 9lb BUT recent experience of buying a 9lb bass, weighed on the 'bathroom scales' (person weighed with/without bass) that actually turned out to be 10lb 13oz bass, has left me needing a more accurate weight. Obviously I also don't want to do a straight swap for a similar priced bass (defeats the whole object of why I want to trade). Hit me with what you have for offer via PM and please include a price for the balance you are looking to add, it'll save a fair degree of PMs if I know that we are in the right area. I do have 2 offers on the table to buy the bass outright, so a straight sale is obviously acceptable but I'm not prepared to sell it for less than the £2200 that I paid for it. I'm only interested in 4 stringers and a fretless wouldn't be top of my list... but you never know.
Cheers.
