ok .. I bought this a while back as I always wanted one ..
but after not putting it down the first month and having to wipe druel off it each time I played it
I went back to my godin bg5 .. i realiy just love that bass now I have upgraded the electronics in it
it sounds like a kick arse jazz bass and as comfortable as an old shoe ..

so no need for 2 5 strings especially since I got my 6er

so back on track here ..
I'll try to find all the info on it for you
but it has a one peice maple neck with carbon rods in it if I remember rightly ..
lovely thin neck .. more of a shallow U rather than a C if you knwo what I mean .. a nice feeling neck none the less ..

nice open modern tone with a bit of a p and j hint to it if you want my opinion

it has volume blend bass and treb and a bright switch .. its a 9 volt preamp .. its a three piece body the front of the wings being a nice curly maple ..
the guy that I bought it off hadn't had it refretted long before I bought it so it plays like new
the tiniest bit of buckle rash on the back barely noticable

I would like to keep it but since it barely sees the light of day I should send it on its way ..

comes with a nice hard case ..
I'm thinking ??? 800 ???
its not really worth me selling it for less please feel free to let me know if you know what its worth

would be interested in a trade also but don't really know what for so I guess send me some offers
unless you have some fretless thing or something uprighty
nothing wrong with pushing your luck huh

ok heres some scans of old brochures .. this is from status japan I guess

nah its a series one .. the energy have a simpler body 2 peice I think ..
this looks like it has a mahogany core or walnut or something dark and then it has curly maple on top of a dark wood for the wings ..

check out an energy and you'll see that the bodies have a simpler composition to the body

yeah good bass .. really like it but I haven't connected with it with bronze wound strings on it (my usual).. if it doesn't move I'll try some flats compressors or go crazy bright with the strings

if you check out those links you will see that its a series 1
