Bump for a rare bass in great condition. Have you posted this over at the Steinberger Yahoo Group (ie. the unofficial Steinberger forum)? That's the fastest way to sell a Steinberger.

Thanks AussieMark. Yes I have dropped a hint at Steinbergerworld a week ago (in fact that is how I had found out about this bass when I got it).

I thought this would move fast- I'm also open to reasonable offers, no trades though.

re-bump, along with a price drop, 1900euros or best offer, before I go the evil route.

I'm not seeing any old bergers in this kind of shape for sale anywhere... especially when you're a travelling (flying) musician, there is hardly a more appealing and collectable axe out there.

Should there be any prejudice as to the tonal versatility of this bass, I'll also be happy to put some sound files up.
