Are there bass shops in Italy?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,

I'm getting married in June and we're taking our honeymoon in Italy. We'll be in the Venice and also Tuscany areas.

I was wondering if there might be any cool high end bass shops I should check out? I doubt I'd buy anything, but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to try out some serious European made basses. If you know of one that might be in close proximity (within an hour drive) to where I'll be staying, please post their website address.

Also, if the Italian Bass Day is happening, I want to know when. Thanks!

Looks like I'll be there long before Euro Bass Day. That store looks cool, but not worth a trip to see a bunch of low end basses with only one Laurus and a couple of Foderas. I was hoping there might be a bass shop with high end European made basses that you can't find over here in the US. That being said, I really love the basses I currently have and need another one like I need a hole in my head!

(And, my wife-to-be is likely to put a hole in my head if I buy another bass anytime soon, unless I sell one first!)
