So, after careful consideration I've decided to put this up for trade. It's an awesome bass that I will regret selling in 10 years time, however I really don't use this instrument in a band context and I need to have a good backup bass for my Conklin as I will be starting to gig pretty soon (band finally found a second guitarist we all like).
So, I am willing to trade this really awesome bass for another bass. Throw offers at me as anything can potentially be of interest.
Now, on to specs:
This bass comes with its original HS case.
Active electronics with piezo bridge/pickups (1x9V battery). Volume -- Tone -- Bass/High boost.
No dings, no scratches, bass is a 9.5/10, and not a 10 because it's 28 years old. Other than that, it looks brand new.
I had it setup by a local luthier (Patrice Blanc) who did a great job. The neck is straight, action is incredibly low, never played a bass with better intonation and sustain. If you want a smooth, laid back sound with that hi-end piezo sizzling grit, this is THE bass for you.
On to pics:
More pics, higher resolution for interested parties. We can work out any kind of trade, me adding $$$ or you depending on what you offer up for trade.
I will also trade this for a decent head amplifier, no tubes please, and it needs to pack some power (200W under 8 ohm min would be nice)
Don't hesitate to ask questions!
where is BMC....

Do not make me put this bass on eBay |

a) If i didn't pick up a new Sadowsky this summer....
b) If I didn't pick up a Roland CB100 last week......
The only thing I can offer on trade would be four rims off a 1987 BMW 320i, a couple of pedals, a 100 watt Peavey power amp, an EBS pedal transformer, a Korg DT-10 tuner. I also have two snow tires off a Subaru Legacy with excellent tread.
I think that's a fair deal. You?
(BTW...you're an idiot for selling that bass. You'll never see one again. I have foolishly let a couple of one-of-a-kinds go. Hate to see someone else do it.)

| | | | I would say precision. It might not be as thick as a P, but its definitely thicker than a J. If you tell me how to properly measure it, I can do that for ya. |

| | | It seems to be 19mm at the bridge. Could be 18.5. If you're considering trading that '63 P you will have to add 500 euros.
