13bass building documentation

Hello everybody
what is "13Bass" (thirteen-Bass, dreizehnbass)? These basses are handmade by one person, me - Daniel Furian. In a small workshop in Austria. Each bass is unique and a part of me. By using the finest woods and components and careful work of high quality is provided.
It is possible for me to respond to customer wishes.

In this thread i will show you the work progress of Electric Basses.

If you need more information or if you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Here we go.

First Bass is a 5String, the scale is 35" to 34,5"

Material:
Swamp Ash Body, Myrtlewood top, Hornbeam Neck with Wenge, Wenge fingerboard -compound radius, the Frets are made of brass, matched Headstock, natural Oil finish,Warwick Bridge, Hipshot ultralite Tuners, Schaller security locks, 2 piece brass bridge saddle, DR Lowrider 45-130 Strings, mother of pearl inlay (13th fret) and Styrian Panther

Electronic:
Selfmade Pickups
Glockenklang 3Band active Electronic, red LED's on the fingerboardside

Myrtlewood Top


Swampash body




10° Headstock

material:
Swamp Ash Body, flamed Maple Topset, Birdseye Maple Fingerboard -compound radius, Wenge/Maple Neck, matched Headstock, Warwick Tuners, Schaller security locks, abalone inlay 13th fret, natural oil finish.

this jig is made of 8mm wallboard - beechwood

Yes, they always are.
It is not a Fender clone so I am all for it wither they appeal to my taste or not.

Building an 8 String Bass, problematic is the large string tension - with the right neck inlays in the handle to get.

Seymour Duncan AJJ-1 J-Style active Pickups, Glockenklang 3Band active Electronic, blue LED's on the fingerboardside

Swamp Ash Body, Prem. Quilted Maple Topset, Prem.
