That's going to be a fantastic looking top. And it's hard to tell from that shot, is the body white limba or butternut?

I'm stumped on the Custom J-type though. I think that's a butternut body but what is the top? Makore?

I'm a sucker for holly tops so I'll be watching for that lefty Finn but the one piece flamed maple bodied Recurve S type is going to be a really interesting one too.

And what is the top on this guy?

Stiff competition in this batch as always but it gets my vote for the best top wood. And the mac ebony fingerboard and ash (?) body will set it off perfectly. I'm jealous of that one's future owner.

The Finn 4 has a Butternut body.
The top on the J Type is Mahogany with Butternut body.

Myrtle Burl on the 6 with swamp ash body.

The sold flame maple bass scares me every time I work on it. No way back if there is a mistake and it cost a lot of cash for the body alone.

Finn R Type 5 headless.

Nice. Love the recessed knobs.

And the other guitar is looking incredible too.

I think it's a shame more guitar players aren't willing to venture into the custom world or push boundaries with new styles and designs.

Going to spend a bit of time making a serious attempt at building a few guitar models and see where it goes.

Another guitar.

Necks just about done on these two just the frets to go in etc.

I do like that guitar shape. It's like 80% Les Paul, 20% Explorer (more interesting than the former and more classy than the latter).

Now that you mention it that is a pretty good description of the guitar.
