I will have a bit more of a play with this bass but initial mucking about has been quiet positive. |

Oil finish. | That is a pretty bass.
Nice wood selection and choice.

| | | Would that setup also work with a schertler lydia (updated bluestick)?
How does it work (im not to bad with wood, but a bit of a neandertthaler with electronics) Quote:

08-31-2010, 09:13 AM
| | | | sorry, yes, the combination of a piezo (or in my case the Schertler "ultra linear condenser microphone with solid diaphragm and integrated electronic settings". Quite a long statement, based on "air chamber technology"...)
and a regular magnetic element |

To be honest I am not sure one way or the other I have never thought of plugging a mic into it.
The dual lowpass filter pre-amp is only available in my own basses I do have a retail version but it has only the one lowpass filter. |

| | | Well, they call it a microphone, but the appaerence is really
quite a lot like a under saddle piezo.
A strip with cable that goes to their build-in pre-amp.
I must say that i didnt hear it yet since im waiting for some wood which takes ages
Principle also is quite similar to an undersaddle piezo.
I only want to add a magnetic element to give it a bit of punch if needed.
They have to be combined somehow to the jack but im still fniding out how to do this; quite a different output i imagine |
