Alan, out of curiosity, what options have people chosen on this batch with respect to woods, scale length and electronics?

LOL!

I have to say once again, that Graft Finn with the split-coil and the P-Retro just absolutely kills, and does everything I wanted it to do, and more!

Excellent work once again, Alan!

Hmmmm, not sure whether I want a bass that does things I didn't orignally want it to.

But seriously, I'm so looking forward to getting it in my hands and being inspired to greater things. Having the stamp of approval from guys like you, Tom, is a great endorsement for ACG.

Woohoo!

This is a whole new experience for me, following an instrument from just a body through to the finished article.

Don't tell him that Tom. How am I going to lure people into custom basses with you handing out good advice.

Don't worry Alan - your plan isn't very cunning to start with. It's clear you're just trying to hook people with these Graft basses. And I'm willingly taking the bait, knowing that I could spec quite a stable of custom models given the money!

(Wanders off to sketch up a headless multiscale unlined fretless 13-string, in quilted MDF...)

GAS..... Finn 5er, alder body, 33" scale, two close spaced pickups near the sweet spot, rotary control, strung E-C....

I have never heard let alone played an ACG but I imagine it would sound great and play great. Wow. And with the pound to dollar rate being at a decent place..

I've heard some recordings but never played or even seen an ACG in the flesh. But there was enough for me in the pricing, the spec options, the gallery of past work and the enthusiastic owners to convince me!

Finn 5 in alder sounds like a good plan to me.

A few new bodies added to the Graft Finn section on the website.

The spec has been updated as well to reflect all the options.
Maple/Alder 5.

Black Limba/Alder.

Maple/Alder 4.

I suspected the split coil would become a standard option! Beautiful work as ever, but particularly that last maple 4.

Love those specs mate
I own 3 33" scale ACG basses, they are absolutely amazing, I won't be buying a bass from anyone else, ever again!

I suspect I could come up with pretty much any specs, but as long as it has 33" scale you'd be a fan!

I fear you may well be right, although I'm not the biggest fan of more than 6 strings on a bass, or any less than 4

On that spec I'm with you. Ideally more than 4 but less than 6.
