I love Amazon's $5 deals . There's lots of good albums there but two albums I really dig are Dave Carpenter on his six string bass and Cecil McBee playing with Pharaoh Sanders



Dave played upright 75% of the time so there's not many recordings with him on the electric and Cecil McBee gives master classes on how to play an ostinato line on Thembi to his crazy chops on Love....
