Hey guys,
My band is booked to do a gig this Friday, but somehow no one remembered to pencil it into our calender, and long story short only three of the five members of my band will be able to do the gig. We're in need of song suggestions for a trio setup that consists of guitar, drums, and bass.
We've already composed a potential list of songs to do which includes:
The Chicken
Cantelope Island
Wagon Wheel
Character Zero
Werewolves in London/Sweet Home Alabama
Ain't No Sunshine
Summertime
All the Small Things
Cocaine
Funky Bitch
and a few original tunes we can pull off in this setup
We obviously aren't too genre specific, but we're definitely in need of tunes that are relatively easy to learn and can be pulled off well in this sort of setup. Any suggestions are very much so welcomed!
Thanks! |

But to the original question..Any Jack Johnson-simple/catchy is his theme |

White Room by Cream
^^^Recognizable, technically impressive, and fun to play.
Add It Up/anything by the Violent Femmes
Murder by Numbers by the Police |

My trio used to cover Foo Fighters My Hero. It's not a "trio" song, but it was fun to play and I got to do some cool parts in place of the other guitarist.

Bad Moon Rising - CCR
Rock This Town - Stray Cats
Trademark - Eric Johnson
Rock'n Me - Steve Miller Band
I'm the Man - Joe Jackson
London Calling - The Clash
