I meant Pearl Jam. Hehe. Couldn't think of the name just now.

You should, it's a really cool bassline, and not that hard either.

I thought Jeremy was an 8-string.
Hmmm...

A surprising percentage of King's X and Cheap Trick songs are played on a 12.
To me, an 8 is close enough sound-wise, with much less hassle and difficulty.

12-string guitar is all over the place.
I used to play an Ibanez 6/12 doubleneck guitar, and it was incredible.
The only instrument I wish I had never sold.
Seasons of Whither (Aerosmith), Beyond The Realms Of Death (Judas Priest) and Immigrant Song (Led Zep) were a few of the songs I used the 12 neck for.

Tom Petty/Heartbreakers, the Byrds, and the Beatles are a few of the obscure bands who used lots of electric 12-string guitar.
I'm sure there are many more--but it's late and I'm tired.

I wasn't sure, so I looked it up, and Wikipedia says Jeremy's intro was recorded with a twelve-string. And wikipedia is always right. Always.
