How is it that it's a 15 string and the neck looks like a 5 stringer?

It's a tripled 5 string,for each standard string there are two octave strings.

I'm sure it dosen't look like it's only 5 machine heads on the headstock.

Damn that is some intense stuff. Not my bag, but nice nonetheless, although I really enjoy the drumming on the first one.

Interesting bass too, that is a hell of a lot of strings. What are the gauges like?

Why would you post something like this? If the music isn't your 'thing' so be it, but you are talking to a fellow bass player, show some respect.

I love the way there seems to be more basses on stage than guitars!
Sounds good, really interesting sound you got on the second video, playing fingerstyle. I think it's the idea that fretlesses and basses with paired strings shouldn't sound alike.
