Hello All,
I just wanted to share a recent performance by my band, The HEAP out of Athens, GA. This is a new tune of ours called "My Automobile"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Auf9lMioLes

I would love to hear what you think.

Sounds great! I would have loved a flourish at the end but I'm more curious what sort of bass is being played here... It looks like a headless upright! All in all, a great song in my humble opinion.

what kind of bass

wite rabit-

Thanks for the kind words!

The bass you are referring to is a Kydd Carry On EUB. It was built in 1996 or 7 and is all maple rather than the Granadillo/ Flame Maple versions which are more common. Like the std Kydd, it is 30" scale, strung with Chromes. I'm playing it through a MB LM2 and a single modified Yamaha 1x10 cab.

JefF
other bassist and other Jeff in the HEAP.

more recent HEAP

This is from a show where we were fortunate enough to get the opportunity to play Atlanta's Tabernacle as support for Drivin' n Cryin'. That's their gear behind us...

This is some recent stuff we've been working on- Hope you enjoy-

Very cool! A lot of guitar players could learn a lesson in comping from your other bassist.
