Hi guys and girls. I haven't posted on here in ages and I was never the most prevalent poster at the best of times but my band have been in the studio lately and we have a couple of tracks finished. We're taking the free download approach and are looking to spread the music as far and wide as possible via the internet (we're going to try and figure out the making money part later on!) so feel free to listen, download, comment, pass on the links to friends, and enjoy!
We're called Danza, we're a five-piece based in Dublin (vocals, drums & samples, keyboards, guitars & synths, and bass). I guess we might be described as dirty electronica, or electro-rock. We try to replicate the atmosphere of dance gigs with our live sound. Personally as a bass player I'm inspired by Wooten, Clarke, Levin, Graham, Claypool, and all the usual suspects. We've been together a year or so and are still trying to find our sound, I guess we'd be in a similar vein to Soulwax.
