22 Seconds of Waay Back

I picked up the bass last night and a wave of 1970's washed over me. Recorded a simple little bass riff and played some B3 Hammond and Rhodes with a phaser for flavor. Sorry for the repetative drum machine loop... I gotta learn how to play da'drums.

the bass is a BigAl with the middle pup soloed. Heavily boosted upper mids with a dash of treble. Run through a Line6 X3 Live California 2003 bass amp model with a fuzz face stomp model. This is the first bass that has been quiet enough for me to record with in my EMF nightmare of a house.

I played the keys (B3 and Rhodes) through my Nord Stage running clean into the board.

Drums was my lousy Zoom RT-223 that I've never figured out how to use properly.
