Hey all

Hope you dig some of the grooves on this vid, there's tuneful bass on the first tune and the second tune is a little something I wrote called 'Push', hope you enjoy it:

You need to hold your bass up higher .

I'm impressed.

Originals or covers?

Thanks mate - these are all originals - the second tune is one of mine that I wrote called 'Push' - and is my bass too high? Feels good to me - though I hate the way I look so what does it matter! Thanks for checking it out

Awesome. Your bass looks fine to me - what is it by the way? An active custom j-style, obviously, but that looks like an actual Fender headstock.

I have to ask - where are you guys playing??? LOL it looks like an elementary school classroom (but sounds pretty darn good!).

I especially dug your solo in the first piece - great melodies but you keep the groove and the changes locked down tight. Nice! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks dude - the bass is my Sei Jazz custom - see the link below, it's a very fine super J - Nordstrand J style pups and a Glockenklang pre - I was going for a more 'bassey' sound than the 'full nasal Jaco' tone - but this bass does all that stuff and some nice Marcus style things as well:

a solo clip of the bass doing its thing...

Anyway thanks for the nice feedback - by the way this is filmed in a rehearsal studio, for some kind of booking agency, I think they dug it so we might actually get some gigs from them, we'll see - show us the money!
