In response to jazzbo's post I thought I'd take the opportunity to tell you all about the 6 cd's I bought over the weekend. I am a very compulsive music buyer and I buy at least one cd a week but I had some extra b-day money left and I decided to go crazy. P.O.D. - Satellite:Better than their first album. I can't get enough "Alive" no maetter how much I hear it on the radio, MTV, and my cd player. Staind - Break The Cycle:Bass is boring. Tons of character in the slow songs and energy in the fast ones. Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory:WARNING: Causes involuntary headbanging. Alien Ant Farm - ANThology:What I like to call "Funny, feel good rock." Bush - Sixteen Stone: Classic. Some of my favorite songs(Comedown, Machinehead, Glycerine) Ben Folds - Rockin the Suburbs: The mistake music buy of my life. I had only heard the "played out" single which, come to find out is the only good song on the whole cd; at least for my taste. My friend likes it though. He's a pothead who's in to "chill" music.

Jaco - His first, which was just rereleased with liner notes from Pat Methany and two new tracks - very cool.
Miles Davis - Kind if Blue. A classic what can I say.
Weather Report - Heavy Weather. Very good, Jaco kicks a##, but the Oberheim can be a bit too much at times.
And lastly 311's new one. I like them, and I think this CD is their strongest one since the blue album. |

Edit: Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see your signature. Now I understand.

BTW, that 311 album kicks ass. I got it about a month ago and it hasn't come out of my cd player. My fave song is "From Chaos"

...It seems that your purchase of the CD has shrouded your ability to see sarcasm, and has thinned your skin quite a bit. Perhaps if you sold it... |
