Hi all... I just thought I would post a duet titled "Flick" that I wrote for my fiance and me. This is one of our first passes at it, but I think it captures the idea. Yoonie is still reading the music off of the ground, and I think the tune needs a little more forward motion.
I'm using my '93 Carvin LB76 that I dropped a Bart pre and pups into. I'm going direct through a UA Solo 610. The cello is mic'd with an AT 4050 through a Portico 5017. We have headphones on to hear the BG as I don't have an amp on in the room. This isn't my main bass but the close string spacing is great for the chordal playing.
I had fun writing this for us and am in the process of getting more material together for us. I like the challenge of writing for 2 bass instruments. Which is why i'm posting this here. Please don't skewer me with "you should just play guitar."

I'm fully aware of what actually makes money! You can however skewer me on the cheesy video effects I have used in imovie.
