"Jackie Blue" - Ozark Mountain Daredevils
"Walk Away" - James Gang
"So Caught Up in You" -.38 Special
"Green Eyed Lady" - Sugarloaf

The fact that none of these were mentioned is disturbing to me. I'm gonna need a minute guys. Jazzbo, pass me some tissue.

And when I was younger, the bassline to Junior's Eyes baffled me. It's still really cool!

Love the choices Woodchuck.

How about

CLIMAX BLUES BAND - Couldn't Get It Right

My band used to cover that song and I sang it. What fun!

What? No Bad Company? Come on guys! There was a time when you couldn't turn on a radio (at night) without hearing "ready for love" or "Bad Company" or one of the other many hits that album spawned. Paul Rodgers- one of the best rock singers EVER imho. My band still does "Can't get Enough" (we did it tonight at an early gig) and it always goes over huge.

This thread is taking me back- "Ode to Billie Joe"- haven't heard THAT in a while!

I know it was recorded in the 60's, but Santana's "Black Magic Woman" sure was a 70's radio staple.

Was "Hooked on a Feeling" really B.J. Thomas?

Thats OK because I wasn't here 4 years ago. Plus this thread is much more entertaining than a recently revived 2007 thread I came across today
