anyone listen to these 8 bit versions of songs on youtube?
i listened to some a year or so ago but there werent very many and most weren't that good. i just checked them out again and there are tons of them and they all rock.

Seems that they're pretty simple to make, too.
It would make playing Super Mario Bros 3 (NES...The only gave I ever knew when I was a kid) a whole new experience.

I always thought the Amon Amarth 8-bit translated well, right out of a Ninja Gaiden boss battle from the nes!

yeah, i'm a huge Amon Amarth fan, i also found vids of Amon Amarth stuff on piano that was really good.
