Recorded a new album with some friends over this winter break. Pretty excited about the way it turned out. Give it a listen if you're into bands like Quicksand, Hum, My Bloody Valentine, Jesu, Envy, Helmet, Pg. 99 ect... http://www.mediafire.com/?e2ebh3v4pl9np
Thanks,
Chris

EDIT - I just googled "shoegaze" so now I know what it is. Apparently the term was invented by the British music press. This seems typical as they're absolutely obsessed with labelling and genres.

Usually, the people performing it stare down at the floor. They generally have a lot of pedals, or no stage presence, hence the term "shoegazing"

I'm no good at labeling music, but I can say we're very influenced by shoegaze bands in playing punk/hardcore/rock? We're trying to do something different here, not regurgitating what's already been done, thats probably why we like the vocals sounding harsh.

We're from southern California so your just a little out of the way haha. I'd love to if we ever had the opportunity though, we just finished recording this last week so we'll have to wait and see if it garners enough interest for something like that.

Pretty cool! I like Self Comfort the most so far. I say keep it up!
