Cliff is a great bassist! I like his style hear

He seems like he's a little on top, to me. I've never really tried to scrutinize or analyze what's going on, before. I just try to make songs feel the same when I play them. I never really think about whether I'm on top or behind the beat.

I love this album! I love Highway to Hell, as well.

i wish i could, but i can't think of any song where he's on top of the beat. he's either right on it or slightly behind as far as i can tell.

You don't hear the note attack coming before the kick drum?

not really, no. then again it's kind of hard to tell because i always thought of malcolm as the rhythmic center and phil laying behind the beat with the snare drum. the bass drum sounds too close to call for me.

I`ve slowed down the tempo! And Jimmy is right cliff is playing on the center of the beat, on every bass drum. What happens is that phill sometimes play the snare drum behind the beat, so this gives the sensation that the bass is on top, but really it is on the center of the beat.
