| | | Yeah man Rock N Roll Train Rocks. it has that old time rock tone. The recorded it in analog in BC. I really think it wa a cool idea.
I think since everybody always says they like the "Old ACDC" better they went for the old sound. Man I think Black Ice is going to be one rockin album.
You can even buy Black Ice on vinyl, that's so cool. |

That being said, at least the song isn't blatantly Misogynistic, so that's an improvement. Have they finally grown out of that?

LOL j/k, I really don't. I'm not knocking it, the only other band I can think of off-hand that still sells and has changed very little in the 20+ years of their existence is Slayer. I'm not comparing them musically but how many bands can you think of can repackage the same riffs and still sell them? That seems like a measure of a band's greatness if you ask me!

Its the same old AC/DC, some people would say that negatively but I'm saying it in a positive manner. I'm pretty exctied for their new album, I can't wait to get it.

It is all bands from "back in the day" (Maiden, Metallica, Priest, REM, Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Chris Cornell, etc.). There is almost nothing I like from new bands of this decade (although I do like Coldplay alot). I think I am officially old as can be outlined as follows:
1. Buy CD's from bands that came out in 70's and 80's for the most part with some early 90's mixed in.
2. Suddenly, I have no idea who all these new bands are, don't keep up with the latest, etc.
3. Think most new bands these days "all sound alike".
4. Play in a metal tribute band that does music from late 70's and early 80's.
Yep it is official, I am old!!!!

Wait, aren't all Sammy Hagar songs bad? | Did you never see Sammy live? I saw him open for Boston in Houston when he was known as the red rocker, and he rocked the house big time. Bad Motor Scooter was just unbelievable. "Memories". That was a long time ago.
