acoustic or electric?

Lets say that your band is gonna head to the studio to record the world's next killer acoustic power ballad. would you use an ebg or abg? what kind of bass would it be? would you go for a fretless? flats or rounds?

I would use a double bass. I just love the interaction of the sounds of an acoustic guitar and double bass.
