David Hungate is on the studio version of "Mr. Briefcase" (according to the liner notes of the LP I own).

Captain Fingers) are decent...the later albums are a bit too slick/smooth/overly produced/Pop(for my tastes).

I do recall liking a couple of his "Latin" releases from the late '80s(a lotta Marcus, IIRC)...his Wes Montgomery-style album is also nice.
