I just can't stop listening to these guys....Great rocking tunes.
Yes...I know they sound ALOT like AC/DC, but something about them....just "Rocks"? With all the Crap that's out in Music today...it's nice to hear/see this.

You can hear most of the album on there MySpace web site....

Our local station played a tune by them and then followed up with an AC/DC tune. Yeah, they are in the AC/DC vein, but it is very fresh stuff. I'd like to hear more from these guys.

Saw this mob on some music channel, I honesty thought it was a joke band or promotion of some kind.
I may be missing the point but it was truly awful, they would have been laughed off the stage in 1985.
If this is what passes as good, inspired rock music...

What, a band ripping off AC/DC?

Considering the big 3 Australian bands in recent times have been AC/DC (Airbourne), The Rolling Stones (Jet) and all the 70s bands that Wolfmother ripped off, it's pretty dark times for Australian music and I'd hate for this backwards trend to continue.

I'm not saying that these guys are the Next big thing....It's just kinda nice to hear some straight forward rock hitting the "airwares".

I feel that their in the same vein as Wolfmother, which makes me think that some record company is taking advantage of the retro music thing.

The two bands are not alike in any way, musically. From what I've heard, Airbourne seem to be a wholly uninspired and derivative outfit, people can hail a return to 'good old-fashioned' rock all they like, this music would have struggled to keep it's head above the water were it not for the novelty factor.
Wolfmother wear their 'retro' influences proudly on their sleeve but I feel they create something unique enough to stand on it's own.
