Al Green

A few weeks ago, I saw KJung do a gig with his new Alleva-Coppolo, and one of the songs his group did was Al Green's "Let's Stay Together." I had been putting off buying Al Green's Greatest Hits for a while, but hearing KJung made me get a copy. I would just like to say that it is a great CD for practice. Al Green's Southern R&B is similar to Country in that it requires disciplined bass playing to pull off properly. This is great music for those of us with funk fever who always to throw in extra licks. It is good to remember that sometimes, less is more!
