Album credits question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all.

Does any of you know if there's a site where album credits are listed. Like a huge database where you can search on album, artist, musician and so on.

The reason I need it is that it's tough to find out who played on what when you get music from Itunes.

Thx

www.allmusic.com

It's not 100% complete, but it's absolutely full of good information.

Exactly, and for more mainstream music you can find almost anything there. I thought of a random band, and checked out their discography:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americana_(album)

The page shows release date, reception, reviews, who produced it, where, every single musician who contributed, writing credits, worldwide sales, chart positions in a bucketload of countries and more. That's even more info than you'll find in the booklet.

Along with allmusic this is also a good one for some older albums: http://www.discogs.com/
