I've never seen anyone commenting here what i consider one of the best bass works of all time! Its hard for me to describe how awesome it is, how seems to complement the vocals on such an unique way. Some kind of counter melody...

oh, enough with that, check it here

Oh, also thats a truly sick tone, full of mwah for a fretted played with a pick.

RIP Layne

I've been listening to them tonight... I previewed Benjamin Strange's Acoustic tracks earlier and was reminded of Layne.

Wow, I haven't heard that song in years -- but I had it on heavy rotation the year it came out. Acoustic bass guitars can have a gorgeous tone. I got a Breedlove 5-string a few months ago and I really like it.

I've seen a lot of super produced unpluggeds, but none had such a good sounding bass as this simple one.

All of MTV's Unplugged's sound great... anyone know the main engineer who did those?

Chilling and sad, eh? RIP Layne.

Back on topic--what a gorgeous sounding bass. Thanks for posting.

Awesome vid...brings back tons of memories. I love that CD soooooo much.

Reading that stuff about Layne makes it even crazier. What a sad story.
