Some of you might have heard of this incredibly sexy and sassy singer Alice Russell - I found her through Bah Samba (brilliant super funy Brazilian/funk band from the UK) but she has a seriously beautiful voice - and for a white girl - shed load of soul. She has a solo album our called 'Under The Munka Moon' that I would highly recommend - it varies between jazzy trip-hop breaks and house grooves, but there's some stunning ballady stuff on there as well that is also seriously jazzy - here a couple of links - one to her bio and the other to her album - you can hear all the tracks via streams - and for the record I'm nothing to do with her label - I just happen to love her voice and wanted to share the fact with you lot!
