You might also try this - a new version of the old Genesis song "Colony of Slipperman". http://www.myspace.com/ndvmusic - complete with a horn section, accordion and electric sitar....

define "intelligent"

Yes, those guys are certainly experimenting with some tricky time signatures, but remember that musical "intelligence" can be reflected on many other levels, too: mature thematic development, harmonic sophistication, lyric content, etc.

Don't get me wrong. I was raised on classic prog rock, and I love that stuff, too. But I've learned that different styles of music have different elements to explore in depth. For example, in jazz it's all about improvisational interplay and manipulating the harmony to tweak the listener's ear.
