I dont mean Russian people, I mean all those that get into the masters known as RUSH!

The tune Ghost Rider and the album Vapor Trails. What a magnificent piece of work. Does Geddy use his sig fender on this recording?! If so then ima get me one of those sometime, what a result!

I wish i could hear the tunes on that album better. The mix on Vapor Trails has got to be the worst of any Rush album. It's one big mushfest to my ears.

Yes, he did use his Jazz bass for that record. I listened to the whole thing front to back yesterday, and even though the sound quality isn't great, songs like "How it is" and "Ceiling Unlimited" are the best they've written since 1991!

Vapor Trails sounds just fine. Ok, I will concede it's a bit overcompressed and the clipping can get nasty. But I'm sick of all the people who diss the album as "barely listenable"... um, no, it's completely listenable, it just isn't mastered all that well. Melodrama and all of that.

Music-wise, it's the greatest Rush has ever done, period, and I can't wait for their next album. I even loved Geddy's tone in spots, although I greatly prefer his live tone (ala Rio/R30).

I hear you there. It's not brilliant but it's not unlistenable imo. Mind you, in the car, I can't listen to it, all you can hear is crackle and fizz, and then it does mush up.

Maybe those who can't listen to it have a point.
