Allman Brothers song w/ Bass Intro?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm not usually a fan of the Allman Brothers, but I only really know the hits. My friend works in the Pro Audio section of Guitar Center, and I stopped in to see him the other day. He was showing me some new live powered speakers, and he was playing this great song with an awesome bass intro. I asked him what it was, and he said it was the Allman Brothers, but he wasn't sure what song. It was a mixed CD that one of the employees brought in, so it wasn't on the CD. My friend couldn't find out what song it was from the guys there, and I can't remember any of the lyrics. Can anyone help me out? It was a nice bass solo for 2-4 bars I think, and then doubled guitars come in. I realize the description sucks, but can anyone help me out, and tell me what song it was, or might have been? Thanks.

Or "High Falls"... I played both of these "back in the day" in MI when playing extensive Southern Rock...Loved that stuff!

Cheers,
Rob

Instrumental Illness is a great one.

That was it. Thanks. I guess the lyrics were in a different song. It's an awesome intro.
