Boy glad I did not get it. Unfortunately I do not think the hype justifies the reality. Listened to several tracks on YouTube and to my mind, OK another rock group, competent. Have I heard this before and its rehash? Satriani, when he does his albums, is distinct and has that Satchmo magic every time.
For me, this does not pull my trigger. I wanted it to. Too bad. |

I didn't.
I guess for a couple reasons: one, I've determined that I'm just not that keen on Sammy Hagar. I quit buying Van Halen records right after 5150 as well.
Secondly, there's nothing on this Chickenfoot album that Giant didn't do better 15+ years ago. YouTube: Giant Live in the Studio
