Could have some variation, i really like the fingerpicked tone, what bass are you using?
you definately can play, it's largely a matter of what you play

I play an Ibanez SRE400 (If I recall correctly, I'm not at home right now, but I'm pretty sure of it).

Thanks for listening.

Is it old or fairly new? (Does it have bartolinis)

EDIT: Oh wait, I think that's the SR series and not the SRX series.

Sounds good, obviously the more you practice it the cleaner it will get and once you add a band then the repetitiveness of it will be gone. Bass lines by themselves can be repetitive at times.

I think it sounds excellent and i appreciate you sharing it with us, it takes balls to have your music critiqued by a bunch of very critical people(as you have read).

I commend you.

Share more as it comes along.....

Thanks

You should work on muting when you slap, I don't think I heard you do it once, that adds a lot to any line.

for instance, the first slap riff : second and third note are muted... actually I think I do it quite often.
maybe the muted sound isn't any good because of how I recorded or something, but I definately mute.
