Thanks for the heads up. Very nice track!

This is one for all the Roots, AtcQ, Pharcyde, Mos Def (I think he's sampled in this track) fans out there.!

Yo Chilipepper, where you at bro?

Haha yeah they sampled their samples.
The little speech at the end was nice.
I want the LP of this.
Definitely one of the best releases since, Pigeon by Cannibal Ox. Or Metaphorical Music.

Yeah another talkbass member showed me one where Busdriver samples someone playing Paganini's 5th Caprice on the flute.

Awesome bass line

EDIT: I just realized that the emote is ok for rock/metal, but goes way too fast, and doesn't really display the groove of jazz/RnB/hiphop/funk

Someone give him a cool hat, a cool expression, and keep his hand in one place. He should be pluckin' wit tha fingers

Yeah, but the question is, if they're not on Def Jux anymore, will El-P produce their hypothetical new record?

Because El-P's beats really make the Cold Vein...

Hell, I have the instrumentals somewhere and they're as interesting as the version with vocals. Without the raps on top of it you can hear all the details and textures.

Brilliant stuff.

No doubt, el p layered that album extreemely well. Until we know, its up in the air haha. But im sure that with or without el p, it'll be nice.

To be honest i kind of be out of touch with def jux ever since Bazooka Tooth came out. They doing any good?

Right now I'm spinning a lot of french hiphop;

NTM
IAM
Fonky Family
Akhenaton's (IAM's main man) solo disks and some soundtracks done by him
Keny Arkana
Médine
...

Dutch hiphop as well;

Opgezwolle
Typhoon
Jiggy Djé
...

Oh, and El-P's free to download Youareallgonnaburninhellmeggamixx2 album has been under heavy rotation as well.

You can find it via the Defjux website.
