Buuuuutttttt...........your thread title is going to get the mods on your case! There are better ways to introduce yourself! Unfortunately, this is not one of those open forums where anything goes. This place is heavily moderated! |

| | | | That is not me playing but I used to play in a band with that guy (Cry For Silence)
Sorry about the swearing, I thought I could get away with the @#@#%
Maybe someone can rename it for me??? but if it gets deleted then that's my own fault
edit, you have to cover it fully, which as you may have guessed, really defeats the point of profanity, further underscoring that it's not welcome on TB. Thanks. -Josh

I thought it was great. Musical rather than whappity whap. Not the style I play in either but I can certainly appreciate a solid player laying down a fine track. |

Hate it. Who would actually listen to this other than other bassists? Play music that actually moves people not this stuff. Don't like your use of chorus either or your obvious showboating with the thread title. Get over yourself. | Wow what an aggressive response!
You should have read my comment above yours -this is not me in the video
Wow you hate it that much you left a comment on his youtube too?????????
You must be really good!! i'm gonna check out your videos and hear what "music that actually moves people" sounds like |

I like the beginning but I DO NOT appreciate the head covering he is wearing.
If I return, I shall only listen. |

I thought the guy had some cool stuff going on too. I'm not a big fan of chorus either, but thought it worked for what he was doing. Good stuff. |

| | | | If I remember, young Mr. Saxton introduced himself on this board not long ago - when he landed his Warwick endorsement, I think. There's other stuff of him floating around. |

Totally not me, not my style, not music I'm particularly attracted to, the tone - god awful in my sense of taste - but there is no denying the talent and craftsmanship on display - I love it at about 4:15 or so, he glances up and loses his riff - right back on it and into the groove w/o falling off the cliff - that takes some seasoning ...
Nice work, thanks for the link.

| | | | Maaan! I really enjoyed this. I guess since I'm not really a bassist, I can see anything wrong with this guys style, and I liked it. It reminds me of computer game music from the late 80s/early-to-mid 90s, but slowed down. The song title kind of gives it away.
I like the chorus effect, and everything else that everyone else dislikes, I guess. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
