Ambient/solo bass

Sign in to disble this ad
well i got no takers at my other song i recorded recently. i guess it was due to the genre. I've been dabbling into solo bass and ambient music, and ive had one solo bass song that ive played live a few times and since i got my toneport i decided to try recording my other types of songs.

The song "Hybrid Fleece" ive had for quite a while now.
"Sleeping Goats" i just recorded today, was complete improvisation and i think it turned out wonderfully.

i would love to get some opinions on these

thanks a bunch,

I'd buy this if you had a CD. Very chill, just the right amount of effects (though maybe -> <- much too much reverb) and great feel.

I like "Sleeping Goats" pretty well, but I gotta say that the second half of "Hybrid Fleece" is just cool as ****.

I added you as a friend.

Nice music. I like stuff that reminds me of wide open spaces...the southwestern U.S., the ocean...etc.

Sounds good. It's more music than song; and almost as much sound as music. How are you doing the dubbing / layering? (and how would you do it live?)

the onyl one i have preformed live before is hybrid fleece, it only has one part so i can jus play it, ive never done sleeping goats live, i jam on it by myself a lot. ive kind of re-wrote since ive recorded it. i wouldnt have a way of doing the different layers live, id just modify the bass line, some parts play the main melody next time around play the harmony perhaps?
