hi guys, just discovered this guy on the internet and thought i had to share it with you guys. anyone who appreciates good music should appreciate this (even if it isnt bass (actually the instrument in the 2nd vids might be considered a bass + guitar)):

Yeah that guy's pretty good. I've seen better in the same style though, I can't remember the name of the guy. It was on youtube at some point.

Maybe it was a Ben Woods video but I doubt it, I think it was some blonde guy. If I ever remember his name I'll post it up.

I like the sound and respect his talent, but I can't listen to it for more than thirty seconds. The music never seems to go anywhere for me and all seems very similar, although most genres sound very similar unless you're really into them I guess.

Michael Hedges was the whatever kind of guitar player this is, but he died in 1995 I think.

Erik Mongrain?

Monte Montgomery is a guitarist that tears it up, and i can listen to for more than 5 minutes at a time.

His music is rather Kenny-G'ish if you're not used to it, but he's definately one of my favorite acoustic guitarists right now. "Drifting" is a great song for open D tuning.
