"Another brick in the Wall" what bass/gear did he use? that first Low E note?..wow!

the first time he hits that low E, sounds so perfect to me..

Isn't that song in D?
Therefore it's a low "D" ?

Yup! It's a low D. But technicallities appart I aggree... that note sounds perfect.

Tuning for the Wall is DADG. I believe RW was using Hi-Watt gear back then along with a P bass.

That's what I've heard as well, in any event... I get to see Roger on Monday at summerfest... Playing Darkside the whole way through.

I'm excited.

I haven't seen him (pink floyd at the time) since I was 4 back in 88 (I had cool parents).

ahh yeah, thats in D minor, i remember from when i was a guitar player,strumming that high D minor chord, guess he detuned.

Depends on the interview that you read. A Gilmore interview says that, a RW one says differently.

Dave played the fretless intro on hey you, and that is all I thought, and Roger Waters left Pink floyd in 1985, on a Momentary Lapse of Reason, released in 1987, Tony Levin played on most of the album, and Guy Pratt played the accompanying tour in 1988, and on the Division Bell tour in 1994
