Hey guys,
My buddy finally got his masters back from the studio on a 10 song disc we did quite a few months back (well, it's HIS disc technically, I just wrote/recorded all the bass parts). Granted, the sound quality isn't great as he was on a pretty tight budget, but I think the tracks came out pretty good.
This is a song called Nothing To You that we wrote collectively years back when we were in a band together. I cannot take credit for any lyrics, but I co-wrote the music. He recorded everything on this track except the bass and the drums. I did the bass parts, and we had a studio cat come in to lay the drum tracks.
Any feedback you've got for me (good OR bad, I'm easy) is very welcome. Thanks in advance! http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm...=197162553.wma

Sounds good to me!

To me it sounded like a thousand other songs and I thought it was very predictable. Maybe thats what people want now.
But, like I said, it did sound good. |

But, like I said, it did sound good. | Yeah man. I sincerely appreciate the honesty. You're right, it's definitely in that predictable and overdone genre, but unfortunately that's what grab's (most) people's attention anymore, i.e. craptacular bands like Nickelback. I'll be honest, my writing skills are so piss-poor that I admit I couldn't do any better! Haha. Thanks for giving it a listen!

I'd say that's pretty nice |

Here's another to give a listen to. PLEASE provide your feedback. Good OR bad. I want honesty. This is called Hide And Seek, and it's a little heavier. It's straightforward cheesy rock song, but I really like it.
