Not sure if anyone here really cares but I thought I'd post this...like I've done some others.
"But my Love"....my first attempt at any kind of a love song...prompted by my wife complaining that all my tunes seemed to focus on dysfunction.
Tune recorded in Cakewalk Homestudio 2004.
Almost all guitars and bass recorded through VAmp2.
Vocals recorded with MXL 990 mic through Behringer Eurorack mixer.
Drums are Zoom Mrt-3 drum machine.
Strings and such are Eiderol Orchestra soft-synth triggered via midi by my cheesy Yamaha keyboard.
All performances by me except (most notably) the main solo beginning at 2:25...by the great Saturated. The first time I utilized a "studio musician"...most definately not the last time either.
I've only been playing bass since November...so be nice...
