Ansia.

That's the name of my new band. Ansia is a instrumental trio a la Blotted Science or Scale the Summit.
Our objetive is to give the listener the opportunity to create their own scenarios, relate the music to any situation they please...with no lyrics at all.

In one month and a half that I'm with Ansia, we've played once live and it was a success! people really likes to close their eyes and transport themselves to other landscapes...I really find awesome that the same song makes a person think of sands and desert and to other person of sea, winds and storm...

We have some new songs on Youtube but they've been recorded at home and sound crappy:

Song IV:

Good luck with it. I did 3-piece instrumental prog for a while and had a great time. Keep it alive on the bass and don't be afraid to contribute a lot of your own ideas to the project. It gets super boring super fast if the guitarist writes everything.

These mixes have some wrong sounding midrange on the guitars and not really enough gain (if you are comparing to Blotted Science).

not bad, but not at all like Blotted Science. To me, it just sounded like modern metalcore. If you really want to try and emulate their sound, don't write in 4/4, don't copy the rhythm guitarist while playing bass, shred faster, and stick to dimished/augmented keys rather than minor.
