do you know if "For the love of money" is the origanal song to "the apprentice" theme?

One of my favorites!!! NY funk to the max, Kim Clarke just plain rules! I hope I mentioned them in the funk bands with a message thread awhile back.

I do like the few Defunkt tracks I've heard. The inclusion of Melvin Gibbs on a project usually means it's worth checking out.

Another "no wave" NYC funk band I like is ESG - has anyone else ever heard of them?
