I heard it on a Baltimore radio in about '86, and I have no idea who it is. I am sure I have "changed" the line some since then, but here's what I remember: http://www.mrdos.com/IJB/FunkTune.mp3
BTW, this is not "Shaky Ground."
Thanks! |

I checked out the 1976 Parliament version of that song, and I don't think it's the same song. |

Thanks for listening. |

Well, if this is a bassline that you remeber from 86, I'd say you've got a pretty good memory!
Unfortunatly, not ringing any bells.

If it was on the radio, it had to be a tune of some significance and one that we'd, at least, halfway recognize. |

LOL. No, no, no. I heard it on the radio then, and happened to have had the bass in my hands when I heard it. I picked up what part of the line I could at the time, but never heard who it was. I've been playing it every so often ever since.
I'm sure I've bastardized the line some since then; but I was hoping someone would recognize it. Maybe I need to post at an AARP site. LOL |

And it doesn't matter if you don't know how to use "you're" and "your." | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
