hmm, techno, trance, dance and electronica aren't exactly the same thing you know

Electronica=Squarepusher, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Autechre...

About that trance, I listen to GOA-trance from time to time, so if you're interested in that kind of music I can give you some links to online radio's and "bands".

Techno is something else, you can always go to allmusic.com and look for "dance" and "techno" and see what comes up. It's probably a good starting point.

Hope this helps.

I'd have to say that Aphex twins would be your best bet. Its more IDM i guess but its amaZing electronic music. Oh and get all the Happy 2B Hardcore Mix's. Those are fast as hell and really cool.

As to breakcore; Venetian Snares is the man! Check out his live mixes! Crazy stuff. Kid606 is cool too.

I'm not very well versed to the genre distinctions at all, but I've been listening to lots of "electronic" music lately.

Genetic World is a great disc from Telepopmusik. Very chill if that's what you are going for.

Also, you can't really go wrong with some DJ Tiesto. DJ Tatana is also pretty cool.

Her Space Holiday is another really cool electronic type group.

I really like some bands that are doing the live dance/trance/techno thing...

Sound Tribe Sector 9, Brothers Past, The New Deal, Particle, etc.
