A bunch of live Henry Cow videos are up on You Tube - Fred Frith has long been a big musical influence to me.

I've never heard Henry Cow, just heard of them. I have the tow French, Frith, Kaiser, Thompson cds. I had never heard of Fred Frith before I got these. I got them because Drumbo played on them and I'm a huge Beefheart fan. I will check out these videos when I get some more time, though. I loved the contributions of the other members of this band, especially Richard Thompson. He has a great voice which contrasts nicely with Drumbo's (John French).

I don't care for what they do, but I give them huge props for doing it.

Have you seen the box set???

Can't post a link because I'm new, but if you google you can find some info on it.

Wikipedia has a pretty long entry :

Quote:
The 40th Anniversary Henry Cow Box Set is a nine-CD plus one-DVD limited edition[1] box set by English avant-rock group Henry Cow, and was released by RēR Megacorp in January 2009. It consists of over 10 hours of previously unreleased recordings made between 1972 and 1978 from concerts, radio broadcasts, one-off projects, events and the studio. Included are new compositions, over four hours of free improvisation, and live performances of some of Henry Cow's original LP repertoire.
